Service Staff Team Member

Service staff will be responsible for providing exceptional service to all guests, setting up and breaking down events, and serving food and beverages. The Server will work with other team members and supervisors to ensure that events run smoothly and efficiently.

Pay: $18-28 / Per Hour
Job Type: Part-time, Seasonal
Shift/Schedule: Weekends/Hourly
Location: Volant, PA / On-Site

Job Description:

  • Set up tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, and other event equipment according to the event specifications
  • Work and communicate effectively and efficiently with other team members
  • Follow directions from shift supervisors and venue managers
  • Serve all food and beverages in accordance with company provided training as menu dictates in a variety of service styles {ie. Family style, sit-down, chef stations, and not limited thereto.}
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Breakdown events, including returning all tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware and other event equipment to the correct container and area
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, cleanliness, and guest service
  • Performs other duties associated with the position that are reasonably assigned to support the overall needs of the event success

Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate is eager to work with a positive attitude, people-oriented approach, and great organizational skills
  • The ability to follow directions and execute job tasks 
  • Self-motivated to work under pressure with high quality objectives 
  • Ability to routinely lift up to 25-50 pounds on a regular basis 
  • Ability to walk/stand for 6+ hours during an event 
  • Strong work ethic 
  • Reliable and able to work a flexible schedule based on the event-specific needs
  • Food & Beverage, Event Industry or Hospitality experience a plus, but not required
  • All candidates must complete our online form to start the application process
  • Candidates must be at least 16 years of age to be considered for certain positions
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and RAMP certified to serve alcohol
