On-Property Catering Services

Our on-property culinary services are now available for more than just your reception dining. Our chef's can create an array of scrumptious meals and more for delivery during your on-site wedding day preparations in the cottage, or in the overnight rental accommodations for a truly stress-free lead up to your celebration.

Looking for a delicious rehearsal dinner, or a farewell brunch for your wedding guests? We have that covered as well with unique themed menus and imaginative preparations that can be hosted throughout the estate property.

Frequently Asked Questions

We are glad that you asked, because it is SO much more than just a beautiful space! Equipment and furnishings that normally must be rented by the piece at many other area venues, are inclusive within your venue rental here. From cocktail tables and leather West Elm chairs, to gold chivaris and hand crafted local Amish farmer's tables, it's included. Also included-- china, flatware, water goblets and linen napkins for your reception dining. This makes our venue a budget friendly option, with beautiful equipment and it also means, more value for your money.

Do you have a preferred vendor list for Willowbrook?

While we do have a vendor referral list compiled from years of happy clients that have utilized the services of the professionals listed therein, clients are welcome to hire their own photographer, florist, wedding cake designer, videographer, and many other service professionals. We only require the use of our catering and bartenders for insurance purposes, and request that any planning services or coordination be made aware that they will be required to sign the venue cooperation agreement before being permitted onsite. They will be required to work with our venue manager as our staff is most familiar with the venue and what works best to ensure an enjoyable and memorable experience.

Is using your in-house culinary team required, or can I bring my own caterer?

The Willowbrook in-house culinary team provides all food and beverage services on the property. This includes all catering and beverage services with the exception of cookie displays and professional wedding cakes. All other "dessert" options {ie. pies, donuts, mini desserts, cupcakes, and more} are to be provided by our pastry team as well. We do not permit outside catering. With over 26 years of award winning catering industry experience, we will assist you through the menu selection process and ensure a savory and delicious meal for you and your guests. From family style to sit-down...Willowbrook meal packages, appetizer selections, and desserts are hand-crafted, sustainable, beautiful, and downright delicious. 

Am I permitted to bring my own alcohol and bartenders?

Yes. You are permitted to provide your own liquor, beer and wine for your reception needs, however, due to the liquor liability insurance policy guidelines and state laws, we do require the purchase of our RAMP certified and licensed bartenders. Also required for bar services is a beverage mixer package that includes plastic cups, beverage ice service, mixers and garnishes as desired based upon service tier level selected, and Coca-Cola soft drink service. This makes your bar easy peasy, and enjoyable.

What is the process to reserve an event date, and what is your deposit requirement?

At Willowbrook, we make the reservation process as streamlined and simple as possible. Our rental agreement contract will be sent to you through electronic DocuSign for paperless, eco-conscious signing. At the time of signature a non-refundable $2000 retainer is required and payable via Visa, Mastercard or echeck online payment link to secure your reservation. Two additional retainer installments of $1000 each are then autobilled to your credit card on file, or payable by echeck online payment link at 90 days and 180 days from date of contract for a total event retainer of $4000. No further payments are then due until 14 days before your event after final guest counts are received and final billing is presented. The $4000 retainer paid is directly applied to your final event billing and deducted from the total final event invoice balance due.

Is your facility handicap accessible?

The Willowbrook venue spaces were designed and renovated to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act policies. Additionally, we offer golf cart service to and from the parking lot areas upon request, guests can also load and unload passengers at the front of the venue before parking in the parking lot. Handicap parking spaces are marked and reserved. Ramped concrete entrances have been provided to the main floor of the barn and the restroom area on the lower level complete with compliant restroom stalls.

*The overnight accommodations are unfortunately not handicap accessible due to the staircase in the FarmHouse and the second story locations of the Cottage Suite and BunkHouse.

Is Willowbrook pet-friendly so that my dog can participate in our ceremony?

At Willowbrook we love pets and we know how much they mean to you. So, yes, the farm is puppy friendly for ceremonies. However, we do ask for your pet’s safety and the safety of your guests, that your dog remains leashed at all times, or crated. We also ask that dogs not be left loose in the preparation cottage dressing rooms at any time. No pets are permitted in the overnight accommodation spaces due to past damages.

Do you offer food tastings of your culinary services?

Each contracted client is entitled to tickets for up to 4 guests per wedding to attend one group tasting event. Large scale group tastings are announced on social media and through email, and are held once a year.

How do I reserve the overnight accommodations?

Overnight accommodations are available on a first come first serve basis as there are generally multiple weddings taking place on property each weekend. Thus, we suggest that you reserve the spaces that you desire to utilize as soon as possible.  The reservation system for the overnight accommodations is located in the Client Event Planning Portal for your convenience, or you may request a Docusign reservation form to start the reservation process at time of venue contract. Once completed through either the portal or the Docusign form, an online payment link will be sent for the required 50% reservation fee to secure the spaces for the specific dates that you desire. Remaining rental fees will be added to the final event billing for your convenience with applicable lodging and hotel taxes as required by the State of Pennsylvania. Policies and guidelines for the spaces are line itemed in the reservation booking form for your convenience, and available for download in the Client Event Planning Portal.

Do you offer inclusive decor?

Included in the venue rental are several antique/vintage stands, bookcases, and dressers often used for cake display, escort cards, gifts, or favor displays by past clients. At this time, we do not offer complimentary table centerpieces or decor as we have found over the years at our venues that most clients desire their wedding to be a unique reflection of their own taste and vision, and thus wish to provide their own items. We do offer various items such as boxwood hedges, vintage doorway arches, champagne walls, donut walls, and more from our rental division should those items be of interest.
